All registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. You are encouraged to register early to increase the chances of being assigned to your preferred test center. Complete the following steps when registering for the THEA Test:

• Indicate a first- and second-choice test date. If all test centers are full in the regional area you select, you may be assigned to your second-choice test date.
  
  
• Indicate a first-, second-, and third-choice test center, listed in order of preference, from the table below. You should list three different choices; your first choice may not be available since there are space limitations at some centers. If the test centers you have requested are full, you will automatically be assigned to the nearest available test center.
  

If you are assigned to a test center you did not select because you did not fill in three different test center choices or your choices were full, you may use the change of registration procedures (see "Changing Your Registration") to change your test date or center. All change fees and deadlines will apply.

Not all test centers administer the THEA Test on campus. Check with the college or university for the exact location prior to registering. Your admission ticket will give the name of your test center and the testing location to which you have been assigned.
