If after registering you wish to change or withdraw your registration, you must follow the
procedures below. All requests must be received by 5:00 p.m. central time on the late
registration deadline. The late registration deadline is the last day of the late registration
period. See “
Test Dates” for the
registration schedule.
If you need to correct or update personal information (e.g., your mailing address), you may complete a Registration Information Correction Form at the test center on the day of the test administration. The information you provide on the correction form will become part of your registration record and will replace any information you previously provided to NES.

Changing Your Test Center or Test Date |
If after registering you wish to change the test
center or test date for which you have registered,
call NES at (866) 565-4879 or (413) 256-2890 by
the late registration deadline for the test date you wish to
change to or change from, whichever comes first. You must
make the call yourself. Changes in registration will be processed
only if seats are available at the requested test center and
on the requested test date.
See
“Test Fees
and Payment Policies”
for information about the fees associated with registration changes. A processing fee is charged for all
registration changes; this is in addition to the test registration fee. You will be given payment information
when you call NES. Problems with payment may result in a delay in the processing of a score report for
you and the institution(s) you selected to receive your test scores.
 |
Withdrawal/Refund Policy |
If you wish to withdraw your registration, complete
and submit the Withdrawal/Refund Request Form. This form is found
in the printed registration bulletin and can also be downloaded and printed as a PDF document from the THEA Web site at www.thea.nesinc.com by selecting
“Print Bulletin and Forms (PDF).”
You will receive a partial refund of the test registration fee, in the amount of $10,
if your request is received by 5:00 p.m. central
time on the late registration deadline for the test date
for which you are registered.
If you registered during the late registration period, the late registration
fee will not be refunded. You may not withdraw your registration or
receive a refund if you register during the emergency registration period.
Refunds will be issued approximately six weeks after the test date.
