Release of Test Scores
Your test scores from the THEA Quick Test will be reported to you, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), the institution(s) you indicated on your registration form, and the test center at which you took the test within one week after your answer document is received by Evaluation Systems. Because test scores are confidential and private, under no circumstances will your score be released over the telephone, in person, by e-mail, or by fax.
Examinee Score Report
Your score report will be mailed by U.S. mail to the address indicated on your registration form.
If your social security number is not correct on your score report, write a letter to Evaluation Systems that includes your name, address, and date of birth; the name of the institution that you are currently attending; your signature; and the social security number that appears incorrectly. Mail or fax the letter to Evaluation Systems with photocopies of your social security card and your photographic identification to correct your THEA records. Evaluation Systems will send you and the institution that you indicate in your letter a corrected copy of your score report.
Score Reports to Institutions
Score reports will be sent through the electronic THEA Test Score Distribution System to each of the institutions you select during registration, in addition to the institution at which you take the test.
Test scores may be distributed by the registrar to faculty and staff at the institutions for use in advising, placing, and monitoring student progress in accordance with institutional policies. An institution will accept as proof of your test scores only reports that it receives directly from Evaluation Systems, whether requested by you or by the institution itself. The score report that you receive will not be accepted by the institution as proof of your test scores.
Please note that you may report your test scores to your high school by authorizing your high school to obtain your THEA Test scores electronically through the THEA Test Score Distribution System. You must provide written permission to your high school to obtain the scores. See your high school counselor for an authorization form.
